    Can a notebook be truly without moving parts? Yes! Solid State fans!

    First - silence, probably, or at least low noise. I have to try it, to prove it, but it is one of the plus sides, according to them
    Second - Mighty Mini consume ridiculously low amount of power, they do push low volumes of air though, but that's another point. According to them again, those fellas consume negligible amount of power as well. So two in series + one or two Mighty Minis would equal to the power draw of normal fan, but hopefully, at tenths of decibels less.

    What I mean is for assisted cool flow. The DCJs can obviously get as much air as they need to. The question was about supplying cool air.

    Let me remind yours guys that those "solid state fans" are much LESS efficient than mechanic fans and can cause heating problems easily on their own, let alone battery life issues.

    The technology is nothing new, by the way.
