Can anyone ID this model of laptop (looks like an Elitebook)?

Saw this pic earlier today and I've done my best using Google Images and looking at a few thousand shots of various Elitebooks over the years in my attempts to ID the model of this laptop. Now, I could be completely wrong and it might not be an Elitebook at all but I think it is, just can't seem to find any models that match the port layout on the right side which are: USB - USB/eSATA - VGA - air vent - Kensington lock slot. There appears to be a fingerprint reader under the bottom left corner of the keyboard, it has no "trackpoint" or eraser style controller in the keyboard as many have had over the years so that sorta jumped out at me when I noticed the image.

Based on the size of the laptop compared to the phone (don't care about what model that is, go figure) and the cup and pens and pencils I'm going to guess it's got an 11" to 12.5" display panel - I know HP did have one Elitebook that had an 11" panel in it (the 2170p, maybe others) but the pics of the 2170p don't match that laptop in that image.

Of course it could be something else and not an Elitebook, it just has that design scheme and general appearance of one so I have no idea at this point, but I am interested in figuring out what the brand/model happens to be if there's anyone out there that might know it just from a glance at the picture.

Thanks for any assistance or info anyone can provide, and Happy New Year to all... ;)

I don't really know how to help, but the strip above the KB looks like a 5-6 year old acer (the Timeline series?), acer does use the same pgup/dn placement, and they use the same logo placement below the screen. It may be a wild goose chase (could even be an unreleased ODM laptop - any of the Big 4/5 + others could have made something with eSATA in that era).

The styling looks HP-like, I'll say for sure. When it comes to smaller laptops (12" or lower), the Japanese are rife with them. Fujitsu, Sony/VAIO (many models didn't make it to the USA), Sharp, Panasonic, etc.
