    Can i put an EIDE hdd in a IDE enclosure?

    I need an external enclosure to recover all of the files on my old z81's EIDE hdd, but the only external enclosures that I can find are IDE. The two types are compatible right?

    Yes an EIDE will work in an IDE enclosure. EIDE is just an enhanced IDE interface, but it's still fully backwards and forwards compatible ;)

    Just google it if you don't believe me :p
