I just bought this Acer Extensa 4420 from a buddy of mine after i fixed it for him. Bought it for 60$
Since i got it only 1 week ago i upgraded the stock 2 GB ram to 3 GB and bought it a new battery.
I tried playing Eve Online but the graphics do not have or support Shader Model 3.0.
I wanted to change out the graphics card or something so i can play but i wanted to get some ideas or thoughts on it from here first (AKA: trusted community)
I saw something about taking a Swift shader .dll file (Rendering ext) and putting in the game, which i tried, and it failed miserably. (1/3 of game showed)
Also heard of MXM graphics card support? what is this and is it possible for my set?
I would like to know what can i do to use this laptop for gaming. Budget is 150$ max. Some details or geusses on prices would be nice for equipment needed if any.

sorry, but you can not upgrade the GPU in that laptop. MXM, is a graphics chip on a card and is swappable or upgradable in certain units, however they tend to be in higher end gaming laptops and business workstations. almost all laptops have the GPU soldered onto the motherboard and can not be changed.
