    You should always try to run a RAID array with identical drives. Unless you have a good backup solution and are running I/O intensive business/scientific applications (game loading time is not one of those cases), RAID-0 is not worth it.

    4K Random Reads/Writes are what give you the responsiveness and those actually take a slight/negligible hit in RAID0. Unless you’re doing sequential file transfers it probably won’t really do much for you, other than maybe just giving you a single logical drive. As @saturnotaku mentioned above, it’s not going to do much to boost loading times or anything. If maximizing sequential speeds is your goal then yeah RAID0 will be good.

    100% agreed. Snappiness is all about the 4K Random Read/Write.
