Hi, I want to buy a second power adapter for my HP DV6000 so that I'll have one for home and one for the office. Does anyone know of a recommended online retailer or eBay seller to buy one from?

Best Buy carried them for a while. They may still have some.

Power supplies have the greatest failure rate when they're brand new, especially the generic ones that has not been burned in.

Used HP OEM, $16 shipped. eBay 270209442875 snag it fast. That's a REAL good deal.

If you miss out on it, search 65w genuine hp on eBay. What you need is an 18.5v 3.5A 65W with yellow tip round connector. HP use this on A LOT of models, so don't search by model number.
