I've got a Sony YB here with AMD E-350. Does anyone know if the CPU can be undervolted?
If so whst program should I use?
-
RMClock doesn't recognize the CPU. Which other program should I try?
-
I haven't heard of it being done.

abaddon4180 Notebook Virtuoso
K10Stat worked for older AMD processors but Brazos has a different architecture altogether. You could try, though.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
abadoon4180 has it right. K10stat works for all the CPUs before Fusion and after K8. Fusion is supposedly a whole new architecture. Is your E-350 running too hot? Is it possible to repaste it?
-
It's not too hot but I would like a bit more battery life and less fan activity.
I'll try K10stat, thanks.
Update: I get an error, 'can't detect CPU'. -

Hrm it's as I suspect that Fusion APU are an entire new architecture. Oh well worth a shot lol.
-
Yeah it is Bobcat core, which is much different than anything AMD's done before. It'll probably be a while before utilities are available for Ontario and Zacate processors.

The people over at silent pc review were able to undervolt the e350 for the dm1z and I was able to do it for my x120e. Here's the link to the thread.

You can use this tool for undervolting to run longer, cooler and quieter:
