Just wondering, I really like the Asus N10J-A1 and I bet it would be really good if you could get the Atom 330 since it is dual core, or I believe it is, just running off here Clicky Thanks

You can't upgrade an Atom. They are all soldered to their respective motherboards.

If your skilled enough you should be able to upgrade it. Some people also soldered a new ULV C2D in their Vaio UX, so this was also upgradeable, just not that easy :D

It could be possible, but I mean its going to take hours and hours to solder all of the hundreds of pins.
It is really not worth it unless you really know what you are doing.

Their were people who upgraded their onboard VIA C7's, EDEN's and so forth but they were extremists.
You really need to know how to use a soldering iron, and you need to be a pro with a solder sucker.

Actually you need a bga soldering station. A basic soldering iron cannot reach all the pins...
