Is it just me or is there anybody else having a hard time finding the Geforce Go 6800. I have searched everywhere and can't find it to buy short of Dell's website for upgrades. They want $288!

I am upgrading my 9300 and it seems like the easiest upgrade.

Anybody know where I can find one?

If you want to upgrade the GPU for that Dell laptop, you have to use the Dell card. That's why you cannot find it, cause no one makes it. Dell doesn't use an industry standard MXM or AXIOM part, they use their own and do not allow others to make it.

You should be able to install anew graphics card, if you have a Dell E1705 (9400). The high end graphics cards that were offered in its history were the Go 6800, Go 6800 Ultra, Go 7800, Go 7900 GS. The Go 7900 GS should be available for a good price online I believe. The Go 7800 is also a possibiloty, however, it seems to get quite hot.
