When I try to run Battlefield 2 with my FS Amilo Xa2528 through an external monitor, the games refuses to start. The GPU is a Geforce 8600M GS.
If I use the laptop screen on the other hand it works as it should.
I can't try it with any other games at the moment, and I am curious if I will be able to play games at all with an external monitor? Is there some limitation that I am not aware of, or is this just a driver/software bug?
I bought the laptop partly because it had DVI and I thought I would be able to play with my 22" LCD.

ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
External monitor refresh rate set to 60hz?
Also, try deleting your user profile folder (or whatever it's called). I think in there it contains your game settings, so deleting that will restore your BF2 game to factory settings. -
