I had to reinstall Vista Ultimate 32 bit SP1 (retail full) on my HP Pavillion dv9500z notebook. Prior to this reinstall I had no driver problems, but now 2 devices cannot be properly installed. An internet search for the required drivers yielded no results or solutions. Please advise. These are the devices & the involved error messages:

    Coprocessor

    Device Type: Other Devices
    Manufacturer: Unknown
Location: PCI Bus 0, Device 1, Function 3

    Device Status:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

    SM Bus Controller

    Device Type: Other Devices
    Manufacturer: Unknown
Location: PCI Bus 0, Device 1, Function 1

    Device Status:

I don't think you'll get a CPU driver for Vista, but download the chipset driver for your notebook from HP's site, and reinstall it.
