    Cannot instal SoundBlaster Audigy 2zs on Dell E1501 Laptop

    Hi, I just recently bought the soundbaslter Audigy 2ZS and it will simply not fit in the slot on the right. Does anyone else have this problem?

    That's a PCMCIA card, you only have an expresscard slot. The two aren't interchangeable, you'll need to return the card.

    E1501 doesn't have a PCMCIA slot. It only come with a expresscard slot. You need PCMCIA to use this card.

    so any other suggestions in getting good 5.1 sound?

    Well.... You can go with the soundblaster external USB that runs virtual 5.1 through 4 speakers, or a similar setup.
