Hi: I plan on getting a Vaio Z690 but i cannot decide between premium carbon fibre or regular carbon fibre. I was hoping to get some of your guys opinions to get a second perspective on what to pick. These were the only, "real" pictures I could find of Carbon/Premium Carbon Fibre Vaio Z's.
*note: these pictures are not taken by me but someone else* Anything you like or dislike about each one?

The advantage is that Premium Carbon Fibre is lighter = more easily portable laptop.

but, seeing how the CF is only on the lid and a few other parts, the weight difference won't be the world... actually, it'll be hard to notice i suspect.

maybe I should have written supposed advantage.
funny that 'premium carbon fiber' vs 'black' is under 'Colour'. Where I looked, premium is +$50-70
From the pictures I saw, I would say that I like just black, but that's only from the pictures..
However (from a different sony notebook), "The VAIO® TT notebook features a Premium black carbon-fiber casing which showcases the gorgeous crossing patterns of the individual fibers. The rich texture it creates suggests an urbane sophistication—all while providing superior durability."
Carbon Fibre vs Premium Carbon Fibre, which one to pick?
