Maybe this is a silly question, but how are you supposed to insert an SD card on a ThinkPad? I have a ThinkPad T61, 15.4 inch model, and the slot is located on the front of the machine. I have to use force when pushing in the SD card, and then I have to pull it out with my nails. Shouldn't it pop out by itself with a little push? Any advice is appreciated!

You put the memory card with the image on the card facing up at you.
When the sd card is inserted, it will stay in. In order to remove the sd card, simply push in a little bit maybe 1-2mm, and it will spring out of the socket.
