I have a Sony-Ericsson K750i cellphone that uses a "Memory Stick Duo" card for storing data (images, mp3s). I see that the computer I'm planning to buy features a 5-in-1 cardreader for "XD/SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro"... does any of those abbreviations enable the use of my "Memory Stick Duo"?

Yes, it should be...the Memory Stick Duo fits in a normal Memory Stick (MS) slot. The article on them can be found here:

Actually you need an adapter to put the MS Duo in to make it the size of a regular MS. The Duo will not fit in a regular MS reader without the adapter.

yeah but you could get the duo's with the adapters for not much more money. Either way youd be able to do it.
