Okay I'm confused here. I have seen quite a few Celeron M 530 up close while doing CPU upgrade for friends and relatives. I've even seen T7800 with faulty second core sold as Celeron M 530. So as far as I know the M 530 is a socket P CPU.
So can someone explain the following link from intel:
IntelĀ® CeleronĀ® M Processor 530 (1M Cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) Socket M
-
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
This is just bad naming on Intel's part. There are two Celeron 530s, one for Socket M/945 and one for Socket P/965.
EDIT: The Socket M one is called Celeron M 530, and the Socket P one is just Celeron 530.

I didn't realised that there is a '530' and an 'M 530'. Thanks for pointing this out
Celeron M 530 and socket M....yes socket M !!!!
