I hear the Centrino 2 chips (montevina) will all come with some integrated graphics option on top of whatever graphics card you have in your laptop (similar to Alienware's GPU switching).

Is this true? Can someone go into detail?

    Thanks

From what paladin said, there are two chipsets: PM45 and GM45 and only GM45 will have integrated graphics cards.

The PM series chipsets need a dedicated GPU, and since they are always better than integrated ones, game performance is better. A GM series chipset has an onboard graphics processor, ant there might be an addditional discrete GPU, if the manufacturer decides to include one. Other than that, the chipsets are identical.
