    An interesting article on AnandTech, posted today. It seems that the USB 2.0 Battery issue for the Centrino Duo is not JUST a Centrino Duo issue. The previous Centrino - Dothan and Sonoma platform also has this 'bug'

    It's really interesting, and it is a registry fix.

    I don't know if it 'really' works, but I'll try this out, and see if it does actually work.

    Most of the time I look whether someone posted a newsitem already, but when I looked at your title I didn't expect you posted it... ;)
    But I am curious about how MS is going to solve this problem.
    Are they only going to make this reg fix, or are they going to do more... I can't believe this is only a registry thing...

    hmm i plugged in a USB mouse, and a Ipod charging.....and i lost a total of about 4% battery time doing the same things each time.

    so hmmm draw your own conclusions on that one
