I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Acer Aspire 5672, but before I lock it in and go retail I want to see if I can get the parts to make it myself. Is there a place that sells Centrino Duo's by themselves, or do they only come inside of a notebook?

When you buy it, it's already preconfigured. I'm not sure if CDuo's are sold retail at the momment, check NewEgg or ZipZoomFly

Cool, I found Duo T2300's at Zipzoomfly. Does anyone know where I can get an Acer Aspire 5672 barebone on retail?

There wont be any Acer barebone. You"ll probably have to look around for upcoming MSI, Asus, Quanta or Compal barebones. Major brand name manufacturers wont allow their machines to be sold on the market as barebone.

How long will I have to wait until Asus or one of those other companies has a Dual Core compatible barebone model?
