    Hello,

Question: I have a CF 52 that has internal damage to it. I would like to get another CF 52--will the old hard disk work on the new one? Thanks.

I would say yes, assuming the internal damage you mentioned doesn't include damage to the hard drive.

^Well, if the hard drive itself were damaged, then a new one would fix that right up. I would only be worried if the motherboard itself or the hard drive connection were damaged.

If it's a standard SATA hard drive, it should work fine once you get it out of any shock mounting it might have. You might be best off asking this question in the Panasonic Toughbook forum, where there should be more people familiar with the model.
