    Hello,
I have HP ProBook 6540b with i5-430M CPU and discrete Radeon HD4550 GPU.
Is it possible, to change processor to i3-330M with integrated Intel HD Graphics and disable Radeon? I would like to do this, because I don't play games, and I have a lot of troubles with Radeon on Linux. Moreover, I like quiet.
I have i3 from friend, so... is it possible?

There's no reason to replace the CPU. The i5 has the same integrated GPU as the i3, and you can disable the discrete GPU separately.

I have a similar idea but the opposite for my HP Pavilion DV6.
Will it be possible to upgrade a radeon 6490 to a geforce GPU in the future; also what CPU (if any) could easily replace/upgrade an:

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz, 2301 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

    Welcome to NBR!

The GPU is not upgradable in the dv series, as has been the case for generations now. The CPU is a hassle to change, to say the least. It requires a full breakdown of your laptop to get to the socket.

An i5 Sandy Bridge processor should not be an issue, it is a very powerful dual core with hyperthreading. For gaming purposes, this is more than plenty.
