Hi guys, the charger on my sister's S5N died, the adaptor says output 19v (2.64A), I am looking for a replacement ac adaptor, but in the mean time, I have a universal kensington ac adaptor that I use for my W3J (19v, 4.74A). There is a tip that fits the S5N, can she use that temporarily while i look for a correct ac adaptor? The kensington (model 33197) is rated at 12-16v (11A)? It should work right? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone know where i can buy a replacement ac adaptor? the only one i've found is on ebay and its from china, will probably take 2wks to receive.

ps. the battery on the S5N is dead, its always plugged in, so the battery damage is not an issue.

Here is a quick fact you may like to know.
Most laptops have a smart power circuit on them. For example if you plug a universal power supply into a dell or a hp, the system will reject the power supply. This is because the laptop charging circuit has a certain impedance it runs on. The ac adaptor also has a certain impedance. If the values aren't the same, the system will reject the power supply.

You should be able to use the universal charger from your W3J with your sisters laptop. The voltages are the same, so it should work.
The other power supply will not. The voltage is too low.
However take that with a grain of salt. The universal power supply could work, but it may not if the impedance values do not match

To find a new replacement power brick, look at the bottom of your sisters ac adaptor. Their will be a model number or a part number on it.
Go to google, and go to "google shopping" Than type in the model/part number and you will find a bunch of sites which sell it.
If the site which has it, is a lesser known site, run a reseller ratings search before buying from them.
