I've bought this ram in the past. It's pretty cheap but it's 1333, my computer only goes up to 1066 anyway so I was thinking is there cheaper Ram around.
I need 2 sticks of 4GB. At the moment I have 2x2GB sticks of NT2GC64B88B0NS-CG laptop Ram. It's quite an expensive brand it seems, on Ebay.. though I've never heard of the brand and I doubt it's even half as good as Kingston or Corsair.
Anyway so does anyone know of any cheaper DDR3 Laptop memory than the first link I provided. Or is that about as cheap as ram gets, because I don't mind just getting another 2 sticks of those.
I'm going to sell my current 2x2 gb on Ebay to shave some of the price off as well. I should be able to more or less pay for 1 stick that way.
Thanks for the help![]()

Had great service from these folks and they do ship internationally. Mine was shipped to an APO - took about 1 week to get my Sony up to 8GB.
Did not check specifically for your model tho. Hope it helps

You didn't look at my location. I'm in Finland. I cant buy from a place like that, they ask for $30 shipping... which makes it more expensive to buy from there, and longer postage than here. I think I might just buy the RAM I got last time, it seems to be the best value. On top of that DDR3 1066 and 1333 look to be the same price.

DDR3 1333 also has higher resale value so I would stick with that
-
Where'd you pull that from? Memory has terrible resale value and the speed "increase" is a gimmick, so just get the best value now and enjoy it.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
1333 RAM won't really matter as the i5 only supports 1066 RAM natively anyway.

Well I sold some 8gb 1333 ddr3 for $80 on eBay and I got like $60 for th 1066mhz. Also, now that Sandy Bridge is out, I think the new standard is gonna be 1600mhz which woud drop the value even more. And he said they're about the same price so you might as well go with the 1333..

Memory has the same resale value with laptops. 1066 and 1333 have the same prices.. I just thought that some brands/types would be significantly cheaper. Like ddr2 as opposed to ddr3 in desktops.
I was wrong. I think I will buy the same type I always get and it'll just get clocked down. Or I could invest in an i7, though if my mobo doesn't support the bandwidth it then it still wont make a difference.
I highly doubt the SB models will drop the price of ram anything more than a dollar or two.
Cheapest DDR3 1066Mhz Laptop Ram?
