    any1 know where to find a good deal on this bad boy?

    or should i get a seagate 7200 rpm 80gig?

    i hear the hitachi's are really loud, but are the fastest on the market.

    any1 have any suggestions for me?

    Try Pricegrabber. Looks like the 100GB version is cheaper.

    Yeah hitachi's are supposed to be the best but you will have more noise and more heat. seagate seems to be quieter and cooler. Plus if it matters any they are american company. If I were to buy my own drive or have a choice when buying I would go seagate
