I notice there's a chipped T9300 CPU for sale on ebay. I know people fooling around on desktop CPU's who have accidently chipped their CPU's, but it's pretty hard to damage a mobile CPU. Looks like he dropped his screwdriver on the CPU.

    can you copy the link?
if the seller is providing an image, than maybe you can determine how bad the chip is.
If the core of the cpu is cracked, dont even think about fixing that.
Its really only possible to fix cpu's with a few broken pins. They can be soldered back on with a good steady hand.

If the green part of the cpu is cracked, it may still work, but there is nothing user fixable on that part of the cpu

n/m looks like someone bought it via BuyItNow. It was selling for 100 pounds. The core was chipped on the lower left corner. I saved a picture:

That chip is on the corner of the die, so most likely the processor cannot be fixed. Look the guy is selling it for a reason, and thats probably cause his accident broke the chip.
I have seen very similar sales on the old AMD athlon throughbred, barton, and older cores, where the corner was cracked. I have a old duron with a broken corner, and that broke becuase of an improper cooling mount. The old AMD's didnt have any padding or IHS over the core, so the core would crack. I know the cpu worked, but after the crack, it was a goner, so I just further dismantled it.
