Really not sure if this even belongs on this forum, but there seem to be a lot of knowledgeable people here and I can't find a straight answer anywhere. If using an external display over TB3 with a Skylake chipset with a discrete GPU, does the display data eventually have to pass through the PCH to get to the TB3 port? If so, does that mean that it eats a ton of the available 4GB/s outbound bandwidth?

    Thanks!
