    Hey guys, I have a samasung 830 64bg and a crucial c300 120gb,

Size aside, I am wondering which one of the two shall I use as main ssd for my os,
apparently the samsung should be better,
but hey, here I run some bench with them:

Basically the sequential speed is really appealing (samsung), but wouldn't the 4k values of the c300 be more important in the end for an average all day/gaming pc usage?

    Thanks in advance guys

The randoms are better on the Crucial and that matters for an OS drive.

as I thought, just I wasn't sure if they are more important than the faster sequential read :D

will try to swap the os with the windows 7 back up tool.

Your c300 random write is damn amazing... though you are not running OS it, so the result maybe little bit higher than if you have OS on it.
