    Hi,

    I have just placed an order for Sony FW490 CTO. Can you please let me know if I can play graphics intensive games (Crysis DirectX 10) in full resolution. If no, can I atleast play the directx9 games in full resolution. The configuration of my notebook is:

    Any other additional information as to which component can be a bottle neck will also be greatly helpfull.

    Your graphics card is weak, especially with a native resolution of 1920x1080. You may be able to run Crysis at 1280x720 with low to medium settings, at best. Older games will probably not have too much trouble, like TF2 or Left 4 Dead. Call of Duty 4 may require some setting tweaks.

    Your ATi Mobility Radeon 4570 is a lower mid-range card. Despite the description, it's not "great for games", merely adequate.

    Thanks a lot for the info. That really helps a lot in setting the expectations right :)

    Can you also please let me know if the bluray movies can be watched in HD without any issues with the above configuration.

    Blu-ray should be fine with the right software (probably included).
