    Clevo P150SM french keyboard Win and FN key exchange

    Hello everyone,

    I did search for my problem and posted in the clevo old bios (2014) tread without finding a lot of informations.
    So long story short, i have since May of this year a used P150SM and it was sold with Prema Bios (1.03.04 V2) and a UK keyboard. NOVATECH seems to be the brand as writen on the back of the screen.

    I changed the keyboard for one with a french layout, but comparing to the UK one (i still own it) the Win and Fn key are exchanged.
    I did found in the Prema Bios an option to exchange both key, but it was not working.
    So i decide to flash the latest bios and erase the Prema Bios, even if i don't have a copy of it and don't want to risk a bad backup.
    So, flashed a stock 1.03.05 from the unificial Clevo repo, laptop worked as expected but still no luck and even worse : the option is hidden.
    I used AMIBCP to unhide the option and others, flashed back the modded bios, option is ther but still not working.
    So, i wonder, is my keyboard not sold with the good layout and must have the key physically changed, or is it just a not working option? Does it even work for someone?
    Understand that both key are working, but when i press Fn key, the Windows bar open and i must do Win + F2 key for exemple to shut off the screen.

    i can help, but im not 100% on what the actual issue here is? the fn + WIN keys are the wrong way around?

    Hey, let me explain a bit more. On the UK version of this keyboard, the Win key is on the left (between Ctrl and Alt) and Fn on the right (between Alt Gr and Ctrl).
    On the french version of the keyboard, both key are inverted physically. So when i look at the keyboard, Win is on the right and Fn on the left. So now Fn key work like the win key if i press it.
    If you have the option to exchange both key on your BIOS, please, try enabling it to see if you can still press the Win key to open the Windows bar for exemple or if anything is still the same. seeing this option made me thinks it was design like this for french reseller.
