I was thinking about either installing the Internal TV receiver or going with 4GB intel turbo memory 2.0 with user polling.... does anyone know if the turbo memory works with the x8100? I read somewhere that Mini PCI-e come in different breeds with the slots all being the same but the interface being different.

    such as:
WWAN: PCI-Express only (usually used for the cellphone modems)
WLAN: PCI-Express and USB (usually used for WiFi and WiMAX adapters)
WPAN: USB only (usually used for Bluetooth and Ultra Wide Band cards (Wireless USB, etc))

Im thinking the mini pci-e slot I have left (normally used for the tv tuner) is a WPAN. Can anyone confirm this? which i suppose wont work with Turbo memory?
my other two mPCI-e slots are already used for 802.11 and HDMI-in. Hope somebody can clear this up...thanks.

yea ive read all kinds of articles on it but still, no one has the transfer rates of the ITM 2.0. if its as fast or faster than my SATA drive then wouldn't polling 3+GB of normally used programs free up some of my 8GB? essentially like adding more ram to my system because im not using as much. im just bitter that i recently bought the x8100 and the x7200 holds 12GB :(

As stated ITM is useless, especially if you have 8GB of memory. If you have a HDD, a much better investment is a SSD.

Adding Intel turbo memory is not like getting extra ram, it is no where as fast. Save your money and get an SSD.

I seriously doubt you will find anyone on here that would say its a good investment or worthwhile.
