Hello everyone! I've been reading these days about entirely clocking my laptop - toshiba qosmio f50-108. i have a p8400 cpu on pm45 chipset, 9700M GTS clocked to 690core 1725shader 1000memory.I'm sure it can better but that is the maximum of msi afterburner. have to tell that the difference is very significant after the clock. But I've got troubles clocking my P8400. My bios is pathetic, so forget about it. I was hoping to find the "magic" laptop clock bios, nothing found so far :))) About setfsb- so far i can't do anything. I've tried with some plls, the only one who didn't give me error after hitting "Get FSB" button is ICS9LPRS365BGLF. But when I move the slider even 1 upper and set it, my screen is getting frozen. m266.4MHz.jpg

    I've got 2x 2gb ddr2 800mhz on 6 6 6 18. Rmclock doesn't run accurately, it gives me error in the beginning
    Code:
     Failed to load RTcore64 driver.
RightMark cpu clock utility also gives me same error
    Code:
Cannot install or load RTCore64 driver.
    nhc says
    Code:
ERROr! -> COuld not load the NHC driver!
obvious its a same problem with all programs but i don't know what exactly. x64 win.

This is my poor progress so far. I still have hopes but I'll definitely need your help! All assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

I've been there.Let clear some things - is there any chance of using setfsb on pm45?

I'll need some more info for using r-w everything. This explanation is not enough for me to do the things right.
    Code:
    1. Run r-w everything
    2. Select Access-Clock Generator
    3. Change byte 0C from 0D(13) to 16(22), click write close Clock Generator window
    4. Select Access->Clock Geneator. It will open same window as before but present 22bytes of data rather than 13.

P.S. memset40 worked for me too. tCL is locked at 6. 6 5 5 15 is working stable, maybe there is gonna be slight difference, may be not :) There are also 10 configurable other timings.. which i'm not going to touch right now..

nando4 was already quite helpful. Insulting people isn't going to get you anywhere.
