Hello, a few days ago I posted a question regarding the purchase of a new HDD for my laptop. Now I have another question. I want to upgrade my HDD but I'd like to copy my current disk to the new one. Now I've read a lot of threads about this (including this one), so I have an idea of what I have to do and which software to use.

But now I read that -at least using Acronis True Imagine (and I guess Migrate Easy?)- with Lenovo laptops the process is a bit different. That instead of having the new hard drive in the USB enclosure, it's the reverse way ( old drive in enclosure and new, blank drive on the laptop). Can someone confirm this to me, please? I don't want to make mistakes... Also if you don't mind explaning me, what are the exact steps I have to follow ?

I was a bit hesitant to post this because I'm such a newbie with this stuff. ^^'
(Also my english writing skills are pretty basic, so my apologies if you read something that doesn't make sense, haha).

Edit: Oh, for what it's worth, my laptop is a Lenovo 3000 C200.
