I'm suffering from a bit of eye strain and I can't seem to narrow down a good color/font combination for my WSXGA (1680x1050) glare type screen. I understand that it's a personal preference, but does anybody have any good suggestions without reducing the resolution?

For now, I'm using a dark grey background with a bright green Tahoma 14pt. font.

your bright green font might be the problem :)

i'm not really sure how to help, but i can' imagine a bright green font could help that much
