I just bought this computer. And i was wondering, it has a Geforce go 7600 in it, would i be able to upgrade to a higher model Geforce Go like a 7800 or 7900 in the future?

Just curious, it seems like if they are the same card slot and same manufactor it would seem like you could upgrade it.

Also is 2gb the max ram the computer have? And also i read it supports duo hard drives. Is a 7200 rpm laptop hard drive worth upgrading from a 5400 120gb?

If the performance will be negligible i don't want to bother upgrading that.

There's a debate somewhere on whether you can bump the ram up to 4gb but the consensus is that the bios would not recognize the extra ram and you'll be wasting $$ on getting 2 sticks of 2gb ram. Rather go with the readyboost option, that way you have "extra" ram and a USB device that you can use to back up, store and transfer files. I got mine from Compusa as well and the HD a 5400 is just fine for my cousin. The 7200 would cost you more and if you're not a serious gamer who demands the fastest load time etc., you'll not miss it. Remember a 7200 rpm would also use up your battery faster if you're not plugged in. You could have 2 hd, 1 5400 and the other 7200 and use 1 for gaming and the other for your work or less intensive apps. BTW, I've received both mir (mail in rebates) from compusa and hp.
