I have a desktop sitting in my closet that needs to be RESTORED! Get this, my restore disk has a scratch on it, and I can not restore it. CRaaaaa... Anyway, called Compaq they NO LONGER make or HAVE any of the restore disks and say I can't buy them any where! Is that just a bunch of cow piles? What do you all think about that? Surely someone out there has a RESTORE disk for my COMPAQ w/out a scratch on it! I may have to send my Laptop in to get fixed and HAVE to have a Computer! Grrrr!

You can use a OEM Windows disc if you can find one. Did you try copying the disc?
