I've been trying to upgrade my stock drive to a bigger drive with faster spin and a bigger cache, something along the lines of +250gb, 7200rpm, 16mb, but every drive I buy/investigate has a different plug configuration that my drive. Would somebody please explain to me:
1. The difference between the two.
2. What upgrade options I have.
Any assistance will be appreciated. Thank you.

The other drives are SATA.
Your drive, not sure...
Looks a bit like IDE/PATA (but seems a bit odd to me).
Maybe someone else will know. -
Its a special connecter HP and some others use that goes over the SATA connector. Just pull it of and put it on the new HDD.

Ooh ooh I hope you're right...will try tonight...

Don't worry, just joking.
Perhaps a different camera angle would have been better? -
I did that video when my mom was yelling at me to brush my teeth. I took the HDD and the camera with me.
-
And did you do what ur mother asked and brush ur teeth?
