    Hi there
by most computer standards, i have an ancient computer. Even though I find it runs nice and smooth even after these 4-5ish years.....I am moving on to bigger and better things now, and as part of this, I need to buy a laptop. I'm pretty much sold on the Studio 15.

Now my question to you is:

I currently have a 256 mb Radeon x600 on my computer

and as a super casual gamer I know that all the games I like to play are playable on this card on my desktop.

Will I have any problems moving to a Mobility Radeon HD 3450 onboard the Studio 15 laptop??

    thanks in advance

If youre happy with the gaming performance of the x600, then yes, the 3450 will be more than acceptable to play your games.

The ATi 3450 is a good card, and its probably a bit more powerful than your older x600 graphics card. Five years or so back, ATi had some of the most unstable catalyst drivers, and now they are much better becuase ATi went pretty much open source for their drivers. They have geeks make them, and they are surprisingly really good. ATi has come a long way, and their hybrid gpu technology which the studio 15 has is a great system.
Plus a new laptop will have a faster processor and such, so the system should run a bit faster than your old desktop as long as you get a decent harddrive for it.
