    I want to now if the NEC ND-6750A Silm Dual Layer DVD±RW Writer will be compatible and work with Toshiba Satellite A45-S151.

    It should work. Most slim drives are standardized and fitting in should not be a problem. The only issue would be if the front "face" plates which are not standardized and Toshiba might have used a different one. In most cases this is not an issue as the drive will still work as normal except the drive might not sit perfectly flush with the chassis.
