    Here is the memory compatible with F3JP, according with asus.

    I only find, on local stores, Kingston or OEM.
    Will i have any problems?
    The memory that comes with my laptop (2x512) is Nanya

    Kingston RAM is of high quality and it should work with the notebook just fine. Most other brands will also work, but its more likely that if the RAM fails to work, it will be with lesser known brands, which are generally cheaper.

    Those modules listed by Asus are probably those which they have tested. Other modules probably work.

    Kingston's memory selector lists the following modules as compatible with the F3Jp:

    Crucial also has an on-line memory selector and probably some of the other main manufacturers. The F3Jp has the Intel 945 chipset which, in my experience, is not very fussy about RAM.
