I am planning to make my own notebook with the following short specs:
    (a) 21” or more Screen. Needed to view multicolumn spreadsheets with 14 Pt. Characters. Old people would be able to read clearly without specs.
    (b) Array Processor (Optional).
    (c) Need not be long on battery and okay on mains. Actually to replace a desktop but with a K.B. and display to match. Need not occupy space in a home or office.
    (d) No fancy specs for HD etc. Mostly for figurework (B&W). (Sort of replaces a CASIO Fin./sci. calculator.)
There are no 21" screen Notebooks or may be related cabinets.
But if any member could advise on suppliers it would help to find sources.
Hopefully thru this thread I could accumulate info. and get suppliers.
It could also be the genesis of a database for the bare-bones of equipment,
Hobbyists and enthusiasts would be interested.
    Thanks,
    Jamshed, Mumbai, India.

Sony Vaio Tap 20 or similar is the closest one that comes to mind. Basically you described an aio desktop with a built-in battery.

    Dear KLF,
Thanks for your tip. The Sony machine looks good but Sony service is ?.
You've given me a new idea.
Giant Tabs at Giant iTab makes 23" desktop tablets.
However the K.B. availability and connectivity have to be seen.
If I could get a vendor who makes cabinets for Notebooks I can begin some where. Even a hobbyist would do.
