I've seen a few news items floating around the web, and we have a confirmation that the Acer Ferrari One will have the Congo platform. I'm interested in getting an ultra-thin, but so far I've been really disappointed in either the price or the performance of the latest. Atom mated with Ion is not widely available, CULV is mated to 4500mhd, and the HP DV2 is just a little more than I want to pay and has questionable battery life.
I saw this: http://blogs.amd.com/patmoorhead/20...s-2nd-generation-ultrathin-notebook-platform/
Pat Moorehead is trying out an MSI x-430 that looks perfect for me. It mentioned that at the Vision event, AMD announced over 20 different design wins of the platform. Who is making these and when can we expect to see them? So far, no one is talking. I'm assuming that as the Windows 7 release date at the end of October approaches, we will be hearing more, but I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything more.

after hearing about the Acer 3810TG,I would rather have that, but it dosent seem to be available in the US. Its CULV + Radeon 4330

There is a Acer coming out with Congo, from what I remember seeing, but had the special Ferrari branding, which brought the price up. However, knowing Acer, they will offer one with the same specs(with out the expensive branding) either under the Acer name or under the Gateway name.
