    Hi,

I have a laptop with an HD screen, and was wondering if it is possible to connect my ps3 up so that it displays through the laptop monitor. I've seen a few guides on the net, but they're badly done.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Firstly i think you need some kind of converter because the PS3 is
AV (please correct me if im wrong) and the laptop doesent know how
to convert or use AV i think its hard to do know days you can use a video capture device but it causes massive lag like 1 fram ecery 2secs or something
i think their is somehting but i dont know what it is i think you need to wait
    until the americans wake up.

Hmm... some laptops have HDMI ports on their GPUs... I haven't tried it myself but you could give it a shot if your laptop has an HDMI port.

I'm pretty sure those HDMI ports are output only.

...in that case, you'll basically need a TV tuner or something.
