I'm having some problems connecting my laptop to my TV. I was able to connect it to another tv with an s video connection built in but I wanted to try and connect it to my own tv which doesn't have an s video port but I connected it (kinda) through a composite to svideo adapter. My graphics card is an Intel x3100. I'm using the intel graphics accelerator program but it doesn't see the tv monitor while the Windows display configurator does.

CyberVisions Martian Notebook Overlord
"Kinda" connecting it doesn't fly either - you need to have a solid connection with something that the GPU will sense and recognize in order for it to free up the multiple display mode.

spradhan01 Notebook Virtuoso
Put the lowest resolution possible and then restart ur notebook. See, if it can fit with the resolution of your TV. If it doesnot then better get a new TV.
