Is there a way I can connect my N64 (or any other gaming platform) to my laptop and USE IT AS A MONITOR? I have a m860tu, and I don't have a TV where I am atm... I was wandering if there was a cheap way I could do this.

    Thanks!

I believe what you need is a TV Tuner. You can get these as ExpressCards or USB (there's a few Ethernet and other format ones as well). The key thing is making sure it has the input format you need for your N64 - the actual TV part of the TV Tuner isn't important if you don't want to use it for that.

yeah, an external TV tuner should do the trick.

The picture quality will likely be poor, but a TV tuner or video capture card is probably your only option.

Beware: TV Tuners generally have caused a delay due to processing and thus normally cannot be used with video game systems. This is most commonly expereinced with HD streams from the PS3/Xbox 360, but you may still expereince some lag with the N64. Thus, make sure you will be able to return it if it doesn't work for you.
