I wonder what is the diference between the overall consumption of eg. nVidia GeForce 9650M GT 512 MB and 1024 MB versions if there is any? And also if there is any consumption deference between GDDR2 and GDDR3, and influence on general cunsumption of Mobile Graphic Card...

As in power consumption? The amount of memory it has to address makes virtually no difference to power consumption, but yes, the type of memory does. GDDR3 is somewhat more efficient than DDR2(GDDR2 hasn't been used on graphics card since at least 3 years.. )

I just can't figure out what you want to say, can you word it differently?
do you mean market share? -
I think it does
more gfx memory=more memory chips, usually speaking
or is it more bandwidth=more chips
I got myself confused

Yeah?tell this to HP

DDR2, not GDDR2.. That is what HP uses.. (Or at least should.. )

I am form the Czech republic and we have here on the market many notebook with GDDR2. I think they do that because it is cheaper for manufacturer.
And don´t tell me that you have in India notebooks only with GDDR3... -
BTW i think that eg. nVidia GeForce 9500 GS is produced only with GDDR2 all around the world

DDR2 and GDDR2 memory are not the same. GPUs use either DDR2 or GDDR3 memory these days.
