I am using My Notebook mainly as desktop. It has a low battery time( not more than 2 hours) so I keep it AC plugged in most of the time. I want to ask is it going to harm in any way?
Its, really annoying for me to plug in or out AC multiple times when I am using the notebook continuously/ intermittently for many hours.
    Thanks.

if you have a lithium ion battery, it wont matter at all, if you have a cadmium battery (or whatever the older ones are), they tend to maintain a 'memory' of sorts, and need to be fully drained/charged every once in a while.

    Thanks for replies.
    I have Lithium battery.
About heat issue, it does heats near left upper corne of keuboard where the vent is located but not too much. I am not able to check CPU temp( toshiba probably closed the option), however HD temp is usually between 40 to 50 C even after many hours of use.
