Is there a program i can get that will allow me to check the temperature of my computer, and also make my fan faster, or more efficient?

Here are some options. I like 18kfanGUI the best for my Dell. Just so you know too, the E1505 has only one fan. 18kfanGUI will control a second fan as well, but you only have one. Also, there may be a 19kfanGUI as well. Just google the names and you should find them.

18kfanGUI -monitor GPU, CPU, RAM, and HD temps and control fan
SpeedFan - monitor system and CPU temps and control fan
Notebook Hardware Control - All kinds of good stuff
