Is there anyway to get RAM that will run cooler for my ASUS G1S, the fan kicks on when the memory gets to 60*c+, and I was wondering if there was any way to get a set that would allow cooler temperatures.

Mr._Kubelwagen More machine now than man
Are you sure the fan kicking in is due to your memory? It's more likely the processor, which would also be running faster if the ram is being used.

Do you have tempsensors on the RAM!?! That seems very odd.
RAM usualy don't run hot at all. They don't even need cooling.
You must be looking at a tempsensor that is for either motherboard, gpu or cpu.. -
memory can get very hot actually. When I was running mem test on my laptop the memory temperatures rose to 175F.
I had to plug the memory fan back in to keep the temps down to around 110F.
I was using PC3200 in my D900K.
DDR memory runs pretty hot, but it normally doesnt when it is used normally. Memtest just really kicks the memory into overdrive, so it gets really warm
You can try putting heatspreaders on your memory cards if their is room in your laptop.
I did it on one of my systems. I took a normal full length memory heatspreader and cut it in half and i used thermal aadhesive to stick it to the memory cards.

DDR2 and DDR3 SODIMMs don't get very hot. And I doubt that the memory modules have active cooling and/or any temp sensors in the G1s. (How are you monitoring the module temps?)
If money is not an issue, you can checkout the modules that come with heat-spreaders, like HyperX, OCZ, G.Skill. -
Well, the fan kicks on when the ACPI Thermal temp gets above 60*c, which I was told was memory, but that was probably wrong.
