    Hi,
I'm new here so please bare with me, I hope I'm in the right place for this question, if not I apologize.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN SZ 460N, the fan has been noisy and now does not seem to work at all. Does anyone know if it's hard to get to, meaning can I get there from the back or does the laptop have to come apart?

Also is there a better aftermarket fan or stay with the Sony OEM.

    Thanks for any help given,
    Bob B.

    What did you ultimately do?
