    hi, i wanna ask,
is it a big difference between Core 2 Duo T5500 series (with 1,66 GHz speed, and 2MB L2 Cache) and Core 2 Duo T7200 series (with 2,00 GHz speed and 4MB L2 Cache) ?
can you give me and example for that performance ?
    thank's...

actually, i'am confused, i wanna buy notebook, i have 2 choice, it's NEC Versa 6210-2002DR (i love Core 2 Duo T7 series) and ASUS F3JA (i love its ATI X1600)

for your information, i work in broadcasting world, (specially in video editing and special effect (using Discreet Combustion)....

    +_+ ???

    thank's.... (again =p)

For most day to day computing tasks, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference but as you've mentioned your primary use will be video editing I'd suggest the T7200, since it's 4MB L2 cache will appreciably improve video encoding performance.

    Definitely the T7200-based notebook.
